Danish Environmental Protection Agency

Miljøstyrelsen

The Danish Environmental Protection Agency works for a rich nature, clean environment, safe chemistry and “green” production. It collects data on environmental impacts and follows developments in the state of the environment while communicating with businesses and citizens. It also administers a number of laws, executive orders and EU legislation. Among other tasks, it is responsible for the approval and supervision of the largest, most complicated and potentially most polluting companies in Denmark.
