Prof. Degenhart works at the Academy of Finance and is an expert on “Bürgerenergie” (Citizens’ Energy) and German energy policy. He authored the study "Definition and Market Analysis of Citizen’s Energy in Germany." He is also a consultant for citizens’ energy projects, such as associations and cooperatives.
