DGNB – German Sustainable Building Council

The DGNB is an independent non-profit association for sustainable buildings. With over 2,300 member organisations, it hosts the largest network of construction and property stakeholders for sustainable buildings in Europe. It also issues internationally-recognised sustainability certifications, regarded as a global benchmark for sustainability. Their assessment of sustainability includes environmental, social and economic factors.

Additionally, the DGNB offers a training platform for the sustainable planning, construction and operation of buildings and entire districts.
