The EEW Energy from Waste Group has been planning, building and operating waste incineration plants for around 30 years. They currently operate 18 plants in Germany and neighbouring countries that have an annual energy recovery capacity of around 5 million tonnes of waste. The amount of electricity produced by EEW is equivalent to the electricity needs of about 740,000 households.
