French Institute of Petroleum and New Energies (IFPEN)

Research and training institute active in the fields of energy, transport and environment. Focused on petroleum first, was renamed in 2010 to include new energies in its scope of research. Aims at developing transport with a low environmental impact, and producing energy from renewable sources and from fossil sources with a low environmental impact.
