Christian Hohlfeld

Christian Hohlfeld is the Public Affairs Lead DACH at the Rainforest Alliance. In this role, he leads public affairs and stakeholder engagement across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. His work focuses on sustainability policy, regulatory affairs, and the role of certification in enabling more responsible supply chains.

Prior to this role, Christian gained professional experience at the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, the German Embassy in Pretoria, South Africa, and at the Federal Association of the German Tourism Industry. He studied Political Science and Communication Studies at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, Germany, and holds an M. Sc. in Strategic Communication from Lund University, Sweden.
