Vanessa Holve

Vanessa joined ICLEI in October 2023 as a Senior Expert on Sustainable Mobility. Her role involves the strategic and conceptual development of the sustainable mobility area, approaches and instruments, including project and service development, strategic communication and liaison with relevant (funding and policy) organisations and partners - with an emphasis on Europe.
Vanessa has more than 15 years of experience in EU transport policy and projects. Her expertise lies in advocacy and project management across all modes of transport (mainly urban transport and aviation) and Smart Cities sectors. She gained knowledge in EU decision-making processes, running public affairs strategies and providing policy and project advice to business and elected officials linked to EU transport, environment and climate agendas.
