Öko-Institut

The Öko-Institut is a sustainable development research and consultancy institute working from Berlin, Freiburg and Darmstadt. Since 1977, it has developed sustainable development strategies for decision-makers, industry and civil society  at the national, local and global level.  It employs over 100 researchers. One area of research is energy and climate. The Öko-Institut receives project-based funding and is a not-for-profit association.
