Marjan Šarec, a former journalist, actor and comedian founded the party. Joined the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe (ALDE) party in 2018. In the 2019 European elections came in third nationally.  Has two MEPs in the European Parliament’s Renew Europe group.
