National Council for Forest Research and Development Ireland

Responsible for the co-ordination of forest research in Ireland and the development of a research programme for the forest industry. The COFORD Council is appointed by the minister for agriculture, food and the marine to advise the minister and his department on issues related to the development of the forest sector in Ireland.
