Friedbert Pflüger

Pflüger publishes frequently on current issues in energy and resource security. Previously, he was press secretary to former German President Richard von Weizsäcker, member of the German parliament from 1990-2006, chairman of the parliament committee on the Affairs of the European Union (1998-2004) and Deputy Minister of Defence in the first Merkel government (2005/06). He is a lobbyist for natural gas and has spoken out in favour of Nord Stream 2.
