Renewables Grid Initiative

The Renewables Grid Initiative brings together NGOs (e.g. Climate Action Network, WWF, Germanwatch) and transmission grid operators (TSOs) from across Europe. RGI promotes an environmentally sensitive grid development to enable the growth of renewable energy and the energy transition.

Like the Clean Energy Wire, the RGI is funded by the Stiftung Mercator and the European Climate Foundation.
