The “green” left-wing Danish Socialist People’s Party has held 15 mandates in Parliament since the 2019 general elections and supports the minority Social Democratic government. The party advocates socialist and “green” values and emphasises welfare, wealth, freedom and opportunities for all people. In 2014, the SF joined the European Green Party.
