Safeena Wani is a freelance journalist whose work focuses on environmental issues, climate-induced migration from the Himalayas, food security, gender and just transition. Her work has been published by Indiaspend, Down to Earth Magazine, the South China morning Post and others. She is a 'Just Transition Fellow-2025' at IIT Kanpur, India.
