Opportunity Green

Climate NGO Opportunity Green uses policy, legal, and economics expertise to close the gaps in climate action in aviation and shipping. It has launched legal action against the European Commission for weak environmental standards and global corporations for greenwashing. It also provides innovative legal analysis to inform international processes at the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS), and climate diplomacy at the International Maritime Organization (IMO), International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), and UNFCCC. They have offices in the UK and Belgium.

The group is also behind the industry initiative Leading the Skies and Seas Hydrogen-fuels Accelerator (SASHA) Coalition, which unites green shipping and aviation companies to advocate for policy to support green hydrogen solutions, including e-fuels, in these sectors.
