The BSW represents the interests of some 1000 companies from the solar energy industry. It wants to make solar power more cost-effective. It promotes the Energiewende and wants investment security for potential solar power producers.
On an international level, the BSW lobbies for “the improvement of conditions for solar technology deployment”. This reflects the need of the German solar industry to participate and compete in foreign markets.
