Yvonnie Akonda Sundu is a Malawian journalist, with over 14 years of experience in the media industry. She has risen from a reporter to sub-editor at three different private radio stations; Star, Joy and MIJ FM to now a senior reporter with one of the leading newspapers in Malawi, Nation Publications Limited. Yvonnie has been working in the print media industry for the past 8 years.

Her interests are in Electricity market, Energy, Solar, Agriculture, Climate and Technology.

Among her exploits, in 2017, she was among 27 fellows at the China Africa Press Centre in Beijing, a journalist programme seeking to promote Sino-Africa relations.

A BA in Mass Communication holder, Yvonnie currently is doing a Masters in Global Journalism and Communication Student at Renmin University of China.
