Power-to-X gains momentum on two fronts in Germany

Two power-to-gas projects in Germany promise to boost the technology, Sandra Enkhardt reports for pv magazine. Utilities Edis and Gasag want to transform renewable power into hydrogen, driving sectoral coupling. Sunfire, meanwhile, has switched on its first co-electrolysis project, calling the technology a “breakthrough” because “it enables highly efficient production.”
