Agora Verkehrswende
Think tank on energy transition in the transport sector
Agora Verkehrswende (Agora transport transition) is a Berlin-based think tank that aims to promote the switch to a climate-friendly and sustainable transport system in Germany. Launched in 2016, it will pursue a discourse with central political, business, scientific and civil society stakeholders. According to its web presentation, the initiative’s goal is to establish the scientific foundation for a comprehensive climate change strategy in the transport sector in Germany and to support its implementation.
Like Agora Energiewende and the Clean Energy Wire, Agora Verkehrswende is funded by the Stiftung Mercator and the European Climate Foundation.
