BEE - German Renewable Energy Federation

The BEE is a vocal promoter of renewable energies and an umbrella organisation for 25 renewable energy associations (water, wind, biomass, solar, geothermal) with 30,000 members. Founded in 1991, the BEE wants to achieve the shift to a renewable-only energy supply. It works to improve legal conditions for renewable energy. The BEE organises consultations with scientists and policy makers and commissions studies (in German and English) which it is keen to make available to journalists.
