Economic Council of the Christian Democratic Party (CDU) of Germany
The CDU-Wirtschaftsrat is a professional association of business actors associated with the conservative Christian Democratic Union (CDU). The lobby group aims to represent the interests of more than 11,000 small and medium sized firms, as well as larger multinational companies. Its main focus are social and economic policy, with expert commissions in various policy areas, including energy policy and environment. The council has offices in Berlin and Brussels.
