Hans-Josef Fell is a German politician and member of the Green Party (Bündnis 90/Die Grünen). He is considered to be one of the "fathers" (authors) of the EEG (Renewable Energy Act, an important German law initiative for the implementation of renewables). He advocates the transition to a 100% renewable energy supply in Germany. Fell is president of the Energy Watch Group, a global network of scientists and parliamentarians. Fell was a member of the German parliament from 1998 to 2013.
