Founded in 1885, Hamburger Hafen und Logistik AG (HHLA) is a port and transport logistics company which serves Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe. HHLA’s main operations revolve around its three container terminals in Hamburg. Although HHLA was partially privatised in 2007, the city of Hamburg still owns about 70 percent of the company.
