Alena Beširević is a freelance journalist with a background in factchecking, covering various energy and climate topics, including deforestation, illegal wood export to EU countries and corruption in the energy sector. Her work has been published by Naratorium, Tačno.net, Raskrinkavanje and Inforadar. She got a journalistic award in 2023 from the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network (BIRN) for her coverage of solar energy in Stolac.
