VW customers in Germany are once again placing more orders for diesel vehicles. Europe’s largest automaker said the share of new orders for diesel vehicles rose from 39 percent in 2017 to 43 percent in 2018. “Demand for diesel cars was particularly strong among private customers, where the share almost doubled from 15 percent in 2017 to 27 percent last year,” Volkswagen said in a press release.
