Bonn Science Shop

Bonn Science Shop (WILA Bonn) is an independent, non-profit organisation offering information, measuring and consultancy services as well as conducting research since 1984. It dedicates its work to key social challenges like land use, energy transition, sustainable work fields, social justice and other topics. Their aim is to function as an interface between scientists and citizens, making even highly complex matters understandable and accessible to the public, and thus supporting an informed public debate. WILA Bonn is also home to its own Education Centre, which is an officially accredited institution for further education and training. The individual projects of Bonn Science Shop are funded for example by the European Commission, German Federal and State Ministries, Federal Offices, and funding networks such as Klimakreis Köln, and also by foundations and single local authorities.
