The non-profit projects Clean Energy Wire CLEW and Klimafakten under the roof of the 2050 Media Projekt gGmbH support journalists and other professionals interested in climate action communication. We connect journalists with interview partners, organise workshops, events and study trips for journalists. We are looking for an intern to join our event organisation (Media Programmes) and network department on 1 July, 2024:
Your main tasks will be:
- Providing external and internal communication and logistical support to the organisation of CLEW’s Training Week (1-9 September, 2024) and Journalism Conference (CLEWCON, 19-20 September, 2024)
- Gaining experiences in communication at all levels – with the participants, the network members and speakers, the team, the hotels and the caterers (verbal and written, online and offline, planned and spontaneous)
- Giving input to CLEW on how to improve events for international journalists and climate experts
What you should bring:
- Interest in event organisation and communications (experience a plus)
- A high degree of motivation and the ability to work in a team
- Very good knowledge of English, good written and spoken German
- We are open to additional project ideas in the fields of climate journalism/communication & digitalisation
