Germany’s diesel crisis causes staff layoffs at Bosch

The ongoing diesel crisis cost hundreds of jobs in drive technology last year at the German auto parts supplier Bosch, a board member told the industry newspaper Automobilwoche, according to a Xinhua report. A total of 600 jobs had been cut at two Bosch locations. According to Automobilwoche, employee representatives fear further job cuts in the current year. Around 50,000 jobs at Bosch worldwide depend on diesel products, 15,000 of them in Germany, according to the report.
