Energy ministry stifles German renewables industry – Green MP

rbb

Former environment minister Jürgen Trittin (Green Party) has heavily criticised energy minister Peter Altmaier for “stifling Germany’s renewables industry”. In the photovoltaics sector alone, 100,000 jobs have been lost in the last three years because of Altmaier’s policies, Trittin told public radio station rbb. “Up till now, he [Altmaier] has presented himself as a wrecking ball to the energy transition,” Trittin said.
